Origin TT Rigging Plate

The Origin TT multifunction rigging plate was designed around a key operational principle: improving rigging efficiency and performance for Twin-Tensioned Rope Systems (TTRS). Unlike rigging plates that use a single bolt system to mount two multifunction devices side by side, the Origin TT employs two quick-release locking bushings. This allows independent attention to one of the paired rope-handling devices while the other remains safely under tension. The setup is also significantly easier to configure. On the raising and lowering side, the Origin TT provides a direct, smooth interface with the Harken clutch and similar multifunction devices from other manufacturers, eliminating the need for carabiners and reducing overall system length. On the anchor side, five attachment points allow the rigging of SERENE systems (Strong, Equalized, Redundant, Efficient, with No Extension potential). Eliminating carabiners also removes unwanted play in the system, which can otherwise reduce coordination between the two descent devices. Keeping the devices immediately adjacent and aligned improves the precision and synchronization required for dual-handle operation (often referred to as “shark-fin” handling), where the Origin TT truly excels. Descent occurs at the same rate on both devices, significantly reducing uncomfortable shock loading for the person on the line. The connected devices remain better synchronized and more efficiently aligned with the applied load. MBS: 45 kN; WLL: 11 kN; NFPA 2500 (1983) 2022 Edition – “G”
