Since joining Elevated Safety, Pierre’s goal has been to transform this company into a cohesive crew. Just like on a boat, we need to be united, row in the same direction, and look towards the same goals. Adapting to the conventional work environment was a challenge, but I am proud of what we’ve achieved as a team and excited to keep pushing our limits.

Alex was a professional firefighter for 15 years, serving as a GRIMP team leader, trainer, and rope access technician. He is certified SPRAT Level 2 and GRIMP Level 3. He joined Harken Safety & Rescue in 2021 to oversee the industrial sector in France and the Benelux, and played a key role in the launch of Elevated Safety in Europe in February 2023.

He focuses on tailoring training programs to the specific needs of his clients and uses a competency-based approach to deliver learner-centered courses.

Alex is passionate about all things rope-related — highlining, climbing, and mountain activities. He also leads the Rope & Web association., which supports spectacular slackline projects. He remains actively involved in professional rescue as a rope rescue expert for firefighters (SDIS 17 – France).

With a diverse professional background, Federico brings expertise in rope access, industrial rescue, and HSE management. Experienced in wind turbine maintenance, confined space rescue, and industrial operations, he also serves as an IRATA Lead Instructor, GWO instructor, and safety advisor, combining technical skill with leadership and training excellence.

A professional firefighter in Namur and self-employed in carpentry and roofing, Max has been a trainer with Elevated Safety since the beginning. He is certified SPRAT Level 2 and GRIMP Level 3. Experienced in international rescue competitions and Grimpday coordination, he brings expertise, practical skills, and a team-focused mindset to every training.

A professional firefighter with 20 years of experience, Sylvain has specialized in high-risk rescue as a GRIMP member for 27 years. Since joining Elevated Safety Europe in 2023, he has contributed as a GRIMP and cave rescue technical advisor, SPRAT 2 instructor, and competency-based trainer. Experienced in GRIMPDAY events and passionate about caving, cave diving, and rope access, he brings expertise, precision, and dedication to every mission and training.

CEO and part-owner of Klätterteknik, a Swedish rope access and training company, he is passionate about working and rescuing at heights and enjoys climbing multipitch routes in Norway and Spain.
He also serves as Team Leader for Rope Rescue Sweden, rope rescue competition team, with recent achievements including: 2nd place at Grimpday 2024, 1st place at Rescue Great Day 2024, 2nd place at Grimpday Asia for Best Medical, 3rd place at Grimpday Asia 2023, 8th place at Grimpday France 2023, 4th place at Grimpday 2022, and Controller at Grimpday 2021.

He has been a rope access worker since 2016, working in sectors such as window cleaning, rock wall protection, bridge and dam maintenance, industrial rescue in confined spaces, and as a trainer for IRATA and confined space courses. He is a member of the mountain rescue team and the Sicurlive Rope Rescue Team.

An IRATA Level 3 technician, he mainly works in urban environments on skyscraper maintenance and industrial rescue, with experience on complex projects such as Stefano Boeri’s Vertical Forest. A trainer in working at height and confined spaces for over three years, he has also competed in the Petzl Rope Trip in Italy, achieving first and second place. As part of the Elevated Safety team, he combines strong technical expertise with a genuine passion for the job and a creative eye inspired by photography.

A firefighter with SDIS17 for 21 years, he has been a Unit Leader for High-Risk Environment Rescue specializing in rope rescue for 20 years. A member of Elevated Safety since its inception in February 2023, he manages ORA courses and Highline responsibilities at Elevated Safety Europe. A former caving instructor, he is passionate about all mountain activities, sailing, and travel. His two key projects are creating a European accidentology database accessible to the entire ORA community and promoting the ORA concept worldwide.

With a background in working at height and rope access, he has worked on telecom towers, steel structures, oil rigs, refineries, and wind turbine projects. Actively involved in the rescue community, he has taken part in numerous international rescue competitions, including Grimpday and Grimp Japan, and served as Site Master for Elevated Safety at Grimpday Asia. This field experience brings strong technical expertise and a safety-focused approach to training.

After serving in the French Army, he joined the professional fire service in 2015. Passionate about rope work from an early age, he built his experience through climbing before specializing in high-risk rescue within the GRIMP. He holds SPRAT Level 1 certification.

In September 2025, he joined Harken to take on new technical challenges. Through his involvement with Elevated Safety, he actively contributes to the development of safer practices in rope access and technical rescue.

A rock climbing enthusiast for 25 years, he specializes in traditional climbing, mountaineering, and ice climbing. A rope access technician for 15 years and professional firefighter, he has worked in window cleaning, arborist work, and wind turbine blade repair. An instructor for over 12 years, he holds IRATA Instructor, SPRAT Level 3, and Hungarian examiner certifications. He competed in Grimpday 2019 with the Hungarian team and now contributes as a coach.

A rope access technician since 2005, he works as an operator, supervisor, and trainer, providing consulting on risk prevention and operational management of temporary work at height. Holding CATSC and IRATA Level 3 certifications, he has extensive experience with IRATA certification programs (since 2012), CQP Cordiste programs (2013-2020), and client-focused non-certification training. His work has taken him to Belgium, Congo, Gabon, Luxembourg, Morocco, and various regions of France, notably the Eiffel Tower. Since 2023, he has been involved in Elevated Safety operations, helping develop the Working Aloft training program.

A firefighter for about twenty years, he specializes in the GRIMP unit in Seine-Maritime, France, where he currently serves as unit leader.
He participated in Grimpday 2025 as a team leader with Rope Rescue Team 76, completed SPRAT 1 training, and carried out several missions with ES. These experiences have enriched his rope knowledge and allowed him to meet many passionate people.

A professional firefighter since 2001 and a member of the Specialized Rescue Team (GRIMP) since 2003, he has also been a certified rope access technician (CQPC and SPRAT) since 2018 and an arborist-climber since 2019. He has been part of ES Europe since its creation, working as a trainer in tree rescue and working at height. Passionate about outdoor sports, he practices climbing, canyoning, caving, paragliding, ski touring, and sailing. He has also taken part in Grimpday six times as a team member, team leader, and evaluator.

He discovered Elevated Safety through Grimpday during his first competition with Rope Rescue Team 76 in Namur. A rope rescuer turned head of a unit in hazardous environments, he became a rope access technician through SPRAT training. Passionate about climbing, caving, and mountaineering, he also enjoys trail running and long-distance sports.

A professional firefighter since 2022, he specializes in high-risk rescue as a GRIMP team member. He is a GRIMP unit leader (IMP3), an operational instructor, SPRAT Level 1 certified, and will be part of the GRIMP 16 team for GRIMPDAY 2026. Passionate about rope rescue and safety, he joined Elevated Safety, drawn by the team’s expertise, open-mindedness, and strong team spirit.

A rope access technician and trainer in work at height, he is also a volunteer firefighter in Isère, France. Joining Elevated Safety allows him to work with a European team, develop new skills, and combine rope access with rescue.

A former Belgian army officer, he joined the Namur professional fire brigade in 2011. He has taken part in a Grimpday in Namur, two competitions in China (Life Line and Grimpday Asia), and one in the United States (Grimpday North America – Confined Spaces).
He is also heavily involved in organizing Grimpday events, where he met members of Elevated Safety during these events and his SPRAT training. Beyond their skills, what particularly drew him to them was their open-mindedness and team spirit, which inspired him to join the adventure.

Currently a supervisor and rope access trainer, his journey with Elevated Safety began with a highline experience and several other project missions. Since then, he has been deeply involved in  ORA (Operational Risk Assessment) training and continues participating in highlines alongside Nathan Paulin. A volunteer firefighter since 2024, he also took part in Vertical Day 2024.

As a partner in Green Up, a company specializing in difficult access, he sees his work as much more than a job. Since his CATC training in 2010, he has discovered a true passion and vocation.

A professional firefighter in Loiret, France, since 2007, he discovered rope work when joining his department’s SMP team. Eager to advance, he earned his IRATA Level 1 certification followed by CQP Level 1. He regularly conducts training sessions for companies on working at height and participated in Grimpday 2023 with the SMP 45 team in Marseille.

Technical & Operations Manager at Skypark Normandie By AJ Hackett, he has been involved with Elevated Safety from the very beginning. His first mission took place at Skypark to test the high-adrenaline SkyRope project. He also attended the first Elevated Safety technical meeting and completed the first ORA training provided by the team.
While passionate about ropes, his experience is mainly in extreme activities, particularly bungee jumping, and he has worked internationally for seven months in Japan, Macau, and Singapore.

An independent rope access technician, he has been with Elevated Safety since its inception, with his first memorable project being the Mont Saint Michel Slackline. A SPRAT Level 3 and Administrator for Elevated Safety, he conducts courses for Elevated Safety, including SPRAT, AHD, ORA, and customized training sessions. Now attending his third GRIMPDAY, he has previously served twice as a controller and currently acts as Safety Officer for Elevated Safety.

His journey began in the mountains, where he discovered a passion for mountaineering. Through self-study and SPRAT training, he has refined his rope skills, enabling him to capture breathtaking moments in challenging environments.
Since 2021, he has documented Grimpday as a photographer and has won the Rope and Rescue individual competition three years in a row. Passionate about technology, he is also drawn to heights and endurance sports, including alpinism, ultra running, and cycling, constantly seeking to push his limits.

She began her career in 2015 in Australia as an IRATA rope access technician, starting with window cleaning before moving into a wide range of maintenance projects. After qualifying as an IRATA Level 3, she specialized in the wind industry in Denmark and later in blade repair from 2019, working across Europe and carrying out both internal and external blade work as well as drone inspections. A free-spirited traveler and sports enthusiast, she thrives on challenges and personal growth. A former artistic gymnast, she competed in the 2008 European Championships in Ghent.

After seven years with the Paris Fire Brigade, he is now a professional firefighter in Sarlat, Dordogne, serving as Senior Sergeant and technical advisor for SMP and underground sites. He has led several international training missions for the NGO “Pompiers de l’Urgence Internationale.”

Born in 1985, he holds a PhD in Physics and works as an R&D engineer. His interest in ropes and knot systems originates from sailing, where he spent many years practicing offshore cruising and later became a sailing instructor and instructor trainer.

Around five years ago, he began collaborating with the Rope&Web association, contributing his expertise in force calculation and system analysis applied to rope systems. To further extend this involvement, he later trained as a rope access technician, allowing him to continue the adventure with Elevated Safety and take part directly in field operations as a technician.

A professional firefighter in the 77 department, he has spent much of his career focused on analysis, training, and safety. Involved with GRIMP since 2012, he has been a unit leader since 2015 and has participated in two Grimpdays and two Rope & Rescue events. Today, his work centers on Elevated Safety, particularly managing AHD. Passionate about innovation, he enjoys designing and developing new systems and technical solutions, including creating educational tools through 3D printing.

A firefighter and event rigging technician, he has spent 12 years in rope access and rescue. Certified in rope rescue and Italian supervision, he grew up in a brigade valuing technical and cultural exchange. He has participated in three Grimpdays, the latest with Elevated Safety as Safety Officer. For him, ropes are above all a way to connect people.

A climbing arborist for over 10 years, he trained in rope access with the CQP Cordiste in 2019 and the CQP Rope Access Technician in 2020. After three years with a rope access company, he started his own business in July 2022, working on projects for Nathan Paulin and now Elevated Safety. Since January 2024, he has also been working part-time in Technical Sales Safety & Rescue at Harken, and he obtained his SPRAT 2 certification in April 2024. He is fulfilled in a career that combines his passion for ropes and verticality with a diverse professional practice.
