This training course is designed for technicians working on masts. Following an innovative operating procedure developed by Elevated Safety, you'll be able to work on ropes while respecting the safety principles involved in working at height.

Mast access is a technical and sensitive task requiring specific training, appropriate equipment and reliable methodologies. We can can help you optimize your existing access techniques.

We offer work-at-height training on vessels (motor yachts, cargo ships, sailing cargo vessels), tailored to your environment and operational situations. These courses are delivered on board your vessels.

Your learning path, step by step

Training objectives
  • Understand the regulatory and prevention framework for working at height using personal fall protection systems.

  • Master the fundamental theoretical concepts and practical applications related to working at height with PPE.

  • Safely use and implement personal fall protection equipment and standardized access and positioning methods.

  • Apply specific methodologies for mast work, including the Elevated Safety double protection method.

  • Be able to react effectively in emergency situations by performing appropriate rescue procedures for a suspended person.

Assessment and certification

Continuous assessment throught practical application and final validation by Elevated Safety trainers.

Certificate of competence issued at the end of the training course.

Target Audience

Open to any person who meets the medical requirements (no contraindications to wearing a harness and being suspended). Intended for personnel involved in working at height, particularly mast access and rope access activities, including operators using fall protection and rescue systems.
