Grimpday China 2025 in Shaoguan was more than just an event. It was a true international gathering for rope rescue professionals, held in China for this special edition. Twenty teams were present, including five European teams from France, Ireland, Spain, and Belgium.
Two members of the Elevated Safety Europe team were present throughout the event and available for technical discussions, sharing their observations on the systems and methods used by each team.
The program included technical demonstrations that recreated complex scenarios as close to reality as possible. The teams worked in both natural and artificial environments, operating in specific conditions that required them to adapt their methods. This mix of different cultures, techniques, and rescue standards created a real space for mutual learning, where everyone contributed and gained new knowledge.
